- Services for new gTLD applicants:
- Develop the initial operating principles and procedures of a TLD in accordance with the industry standards and regulatory requirements
- Consult on choice of the registry infrastructure provider
- Review the infrastructure provider agreement, negotiate changes
- Prepare the new gTLD application to ICANN
- Create initial set of policies (Eligibility, Sunrise, Landrush, Security, AUP, DNSSEC, WHOIS, Reserved names)
- Create the IDN implementation policies, variant rules and character tables
- For community-based TLDs: develop the community-related policy aspects and policy management procedures
- Work through all phases of the gTLD evaluation process
- Answer ICANN questions on the application (if any)
- Participate in extended evaluation (if needed)
- Respond to objections (if any)
- Respond to public forum comments
- Obtain ICANN registrar accreditation (if needed)
- Educate registrars and partners on the policy aspects of a TLD
